Sweepstakes Official Rules
1. The contest runs each Friday Your last opportunity to participate in each contest will be on the Friday of the announced contest at 8 P.M. Pacific Time.

2. The contest is governed exclusively by the laws of the United States. You are not authorized to participate in the contest if you are not located within the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. Void where prohibited.

A. This promotion is open only to currently enrolled students or currently employed faculty/staff of Foothill High School in Henderson, Nevada. To claim your prize you must appear, in person, at the FST News Studios after school hours have ended and provide valid proof that you are the winner. If you fail to produce proper proof, your prize will be forfeited. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year employees of Foothill Student Television are not eligible to compete.
B. Individuals may only win once every 14 days for all contests conducted by Foothill Student Television.
C. Entrants are required to provide truthful information and Foothill Student Television will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. Foothill Student Television will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and Foothill Student Television will also delete any entry knowingly received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.

A. To enter/participate in the contest, the user must have his/her own Twitter account. Upon tweeting the answer to the question posed on FST News on that day, with the hashtag “fstgiveaway,” the entry to the contest is recorded. You must also be following @FSTNews on Twitter in order for your entry to be recorded.
B. In order to participate, you must follow and provide all information when and if prompted.
C. In order to have chances to win on a specific day, you must tweet on that day before 8 P.M. All entries are discarded after a winner is chosen during the following day.
D. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned the Twitter account. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same Twitter account. All entries submitted become the sole property of Foothill Student Television and will not be acknowledged or returned.
E. Use of any device to automate entry is prohibited. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by Foothill Student Television.
F. The contest administrator’s computer is the official time keeping device for the contest. For purpose of this contest, a “Day” shall begin at 12:00:00 A.M. and shall end at 11:59:59 P.M.

A. Each day of the contest, a winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received on the specific day of each event, unless otherwise specified on the entry page. In order to register, you must re-enter every day of the contest.
B. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received on a specific day. Drawing may not be done through an electronic script. Every drawing will be videotaped from beginning to end and featured on Foothill Student Television.
C. Winners do not have to watch or listen to Foothill Student Television News to win.
D. Potential winners will be notified by direct message on Twitter on the day of the drawing.
E. Each entrant selected as a potential winner must comply with all terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all such requirements.
F. If the winner does not claim his/her prize within 2 school days following the day of the drawing, s/he forfeits the prize.

A. The prize for this contest varies based on the day. Each week there will be different reward, with a different retail value. Each day’s winner will win one prize. Company/Sponsor makes no warranties with regard to the prizes.
B. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Foothill Student Television may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes do not include taxes, gratuities, or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.

A. Payments of all federal, state, and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners.
B. By participating in the contest, each winner agrees to have his or her name, city, state, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation.
C. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, and depending on the nature of the prize and eligibility requirements of the contest, Foothill Student Television in its sole discretion will require verification of the winner’s identification by logging into the Twitter account proclaimed as the winner on FST News. By participating in the contest, each winner agrees to release hold Foothill Student Television, Foothill High School, the Clark County School District, the Board of School Trustees, the State of Nevada, all departments and committees, its sponsor(s) and promotional partner(s), Twitter, and each of their parent, subsidiary and affiliated entities, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them (collectively, the “Released Parties) harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
D. Foothill Student Television, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person (and all of their entries) from this and any contest if he or she tampers with the entry process, the operation of the contest, or the operation of the Foothill Student Television Twitter account. Foothill Student Television also reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify a person if his or her Twitter account name is offensive, racist, or derogatory. Foothill Student Television reserves the right to decide whether or not a Twitter account name is offensive, racist, or derogatory, based on community standards. Foothill Student Television further reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate, or suspend the contest, or any part of it, if it is not capable of completion as planned or if any fraud, technical failures or any factor beyond Foothill Student Television’s control, including the infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the contest as determined by Foothill Student Television in its sole discretion. Any attempt by an entrant or any person to deliberately damage Foothill Student Television’s Twitter account or to undermine the legitimate operation of this contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Foothill Student Television reserves the right to seek full prosecution and/or damages from any such individual to the fullest extent permitted by law. Foothill Student Television’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of this provision. If due to circumstances beyond the control of Foothill Student Television, any competition or prize related event or travel is delayed, rescheduled, postponed, or cancelled, Foothill Student Television reserves the right, but not the obligation, to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.
E. The Released Parties are not responsible for (i) typographical errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize; (ii) entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties, malfunctions, disconnections, or other technological failures, telephone service outages, delays, dropped calls, or busy signals; or (iii) lost, stolen, mangled, misdelivered, postage due, illegible, incomplete, incorrect, or late entries.
